This week we look at the text of civilian practitioners: the White Paper, also known as “CPR”. You should know by now that it contains the very long and detailed Code of Civil Procedure, accompanied by many useful comments and practice instructions. One small note, if you are ever absolutely stuck without a copy of the white paper (yes, there will be a time when you will not be surgically attached to it), you can access the part that is in bold online. In the Resources tab, you will find a link. It`s not the full white paper, but it could get you out of trouble if you suddenly find that you need a copy of a rule for some reason. Otherwise, Westlaw is particularly easy to navigate and includes both the bold rules and the additional commentary.
